David James and Company has been practicing smart energy saving solutions in home construction since the company’s inception. David is a Certified Green Builder, and works hard to incorporate the latest energy saving technologies and efficient systems into each home that we create.
Meet Our Core Team
David James, PE
President
David started the company in 1995 after working as a Structural Engineer for several national commercial engineering companies. He is a graduate of Clarkson University and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina. He holds an Unlimited Building License for both residential and commercial projects. David oversees all projects and spends equal time on the project sites and meeting with our clients.
Brad Smith
Project Manager and Estimator
Brad is a Wilmington native and a graduate of ECU who has been with our company for almost 20 years. A skilled estimator and carpenter with an eye for detail, he is highly adept at managing complicated projects.
Casey Williams
Project Manager
Casey is a Wilmington native who joined our company after running his own successful construction company here. He contributes years of fine carpentry and solid management experience as a field project coordinator with excellent communication skills.
Sarah James
Office Manager
Sarah founded the company with David and oversees our centrally located office where she is responsible for accounting and records. She is a graduate of SUNY Oswego and enjoys tackling the administrative duties that keep our business running smoothly.
